Who's that lady?
Malou Kuper joined Jupiter Inlet Colony as a part-time Administrative Secretary on November 9, 2009 after retiring from the Village of Tequesta, where she worked for 25 years. Malou says "I am honored to assist with administrative duties, such as building permits, occupational licenses, etc. I love being here and couldn't ask for nicer people to work with. Assisting the Mayor, the Chief, and the Commissioners and serving this friendly community is very satisfying!"
Malou arrived from the Philippines in 1981, with her husband Jack, a South Dakota native, and three young children. Her husband accepted a position as a computer analyst with Florida Power and Light. They raised their children here, in south Florida, and their children still live nearby. Malou has two daughters, Melissa and Nikki, and a son, Jay. Thanks to Jay and his wife Amy, she has her first grandson, Jack Sullivan, who is 4 years old.
Malou says "I am very blessed to have had the opportunity to come to the United States to raise my family. I love this country and all it offers to it's citizens. I am here to serve the residents of Jupiter Inlet Colony. You can reach me at the town administration building from 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Thursday. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org .
